Advantages n Disadvantages of Existing System

2.3 Existing System Advantages and Disadvantages

¥           Disadvantages:
There are numbers of disadvantages of exiting institute system. The existing system has several modules like admission, schedule, library, account etc. All these modules currently run manually and on basis of paper.
The institute management system, every year admit approximately more than 500 students. Institute has more than 1400 students every year including F.Y., S.Y., and T.Y. The exiting institute system is based on paper work. And the documentation of current system is traditional documentation and management (File type). The data of more than 1400 students is very difficult to maintain. And every year the number of students is increases. There are many drawbacks of current system. The existing system contains attendance module which is actually paper base and it has several downsides like misplacement of attendance sheet, time consuming etc. The current system has not any facility like intranet. Because of this disadvantage, students cannot get any information about attendance and assignment notification, user control and security, event notification, data and material sharing and many more option. In the institute, all the library work is done by manually. All the books should have barcode number and they should be registered in computer too. The most of the time is consume in issuing books and its documentation. To maintain all the data about students and its books, it means the data of students account is very difficult to maintain.
As describe above, all the drawbacks of the existing institute management system should convert in advantages. And because of these several disadvantages, there is a robust requirement of new computerized system.

¥       Advantages:

The current existing system has some of few advantages which are like less hardware and software required, cheap in comparison of computerized system.
In the current system most of work are done by manually and based on paper. Because of these reason the requirement of hardware and software is very less. And the requirement of hardware and software so less that’s why the cost of the system is low in comparison of computerized system.

SPM Project....Project Scope n Limitation

2.2 Project Scope and Limitation:

“The scope and variety of content and number of system interfaces, intranets this organization is much more complex than their respective public website. According to the system design annual the number of pages on participants’ site averaged 20,000 over the year.”

“As per the currently estimated and permissible budget, the server that has been selected to host the new intranet site will be able to take load of 30,000 students.”

Technology In Today's House..

Hello.....Friends,

In today's world, all the things are going to be computerized or we can say all the things are part of technology. "The father of .NET application", Microsoft's founder, and former CEO and chairman of Gets Foundation..Mr. Bill Gates's house is one the example of computerized house. Stating from security system of the house to furniture all the part are now become part of technology. Technology....means what????
Don't Be serious.....I mean or I understand technology as which can solve our little small to big problems but important in life. And makes life so simpler......................

The life become so easy and beautiful with the use of technology in life. The embedded technology helps in different parts of life and PDA and mobiles and other applications and cloud computing so on...........

Use of Internet in Education

The Internet, a global network of networks connecting millions of computers and computer users, is a relatively new resource for educators. In fall 1998, 89-percent of U.S. public and private schools and 51 percent of all classrooms had Internet access (Wirt, 1999). The Internet’s rapid growth and dynamic nature has educators asking research questions that are still in the process of being studied. Researchers are only beginning to gain insight into the strengths and weaknesses of the Internet in the classroom. However, even at this early stage, there is emerging evidence that the Internet provides a variety of valuable aids to education.

The Internet provides up-to-date information on a variety of classroom-related topics unavailable from other sources. The content of textbook, library, and teacher knowledge is enhanced by this new medium.
Computer networks are increasingly serving as an aid to communication and to the storage and retrieval of information. In that sense, the Internet can be thought of as a natural extension of 5,000 years of progress that began with the development of reading and writing, and has included inventions such as the movable type printing press, telegraph, telephone, radio, television, VCR, and communications satellites (Logan, 1995). Some of the educational research on print materials, telephone, radio, television, and video carry over to the...

Memory Management Techniques

Computer must require some memory to store the data, doing some process and for generate some output. Many years ago when RAM (Random Access Memory) is considered as a main memory at that time some problems were came.

RAM has two drawbacks 1. Speed
                                        2. Capacity

Speed in comparison with the processor and capacity in comparison with Hard Disk Drive (HDD). To reduce this drawback some memory management techniques were invented. Some of them written below.

  • Instruction Pre-fetch
  • Write Buffer
  • Memory Interleaving
  • Cache Memory
  • Virtual Memory
So these are the techniques to reduce the drawback of the RAM. This techniques known as memory management techniques.

Dr. Manmohan Sigh - " A True Leader "

"Knowing is not enough; we must apply.
Willing is not enough; we must do. "

Dr. Manmohan Singh is the14th and current Prime Minister of India. He is the first Sikh Prime Minister of our peaceful and loving nation. As we always taking and learning about the technology, and we also concern with leadership in many ways. We should know few things about our 14th prime minister. To become the prime minister of world's one the most populated nation, and world emerging nation is something special. We always understand that a leader should have good speaker and he should have the ability to present knowledgeable speech in large gathering. And convert their mind into his opinion.              Dr. Manmohan Singh is always being different from any political leader. And I feel very glad to introduce him as our nation leader rather than political leader.

Sometimes, I feel that Dr. Manmohan Singh is our nation proud. He is role model of many students and young people in our country and outside also. Let see some important facts of Dr. Manmohan Singh.

Cache Memory

If you have been shopping for a computer, then you have heard the word "cache." Modern computers have both L1 and L2 caches, and many now also have L3 cache. You may also have gotten advice on the topic from well-meaning friends, perhaps something like "Don't buy that Celeron chip, it doesn't have any cache in it!" It turns out that caching is an important computer-science process that appears on every computer in a variety of forms. There are memory caches, hardware and software disk caches, page caches and more.

A small amount (normally less than 1MB or 2MB) of high-speed memory residing on or close to the CPU. Cache memory supplies the processor with the most frequently requested data and instructions. Level 1 cache (primary cache) is the cache closest to the processor. Level 2 cache (secondary cache) is the cache second closest to the processor and is usually on the motherboard.

A CPU cache is a cache used by the central processing unit of a computer to reduce the average time to access memory. The cache is a smaller, faster memory which stores copies of the data from the most frequently used main memory locations.

Cache memory is random access memory (RAM) that a computer microprocessor can access more quickly than it can access regular RAM. As the microprocessor processes data, it looks first in the cache memory and if it finds the data there (from a previous reading of data), it does not have to do the more time-consuming reading of data from larger memory.

Cache memory is sometimes described in levels of closeness and accessibility to the microprocessor. An L1 cache is on the same chip as the microprocessor. (For example, the PowerPC 601 processor has a 32 kilobyte level-1 cache built into its chip.) L2 is usually a separate static RAM (SRAM) chip. The main RAM is usually a dynamic RAM (DRAM) chip.

Amazing experience...............

Hi friend......

I want to share my amazing and learning experience while giving the presentation on cloud computing in my college.
I learn a lot about and how to deliver the presentation. The experience was vibrant and great. Some pics of it which is shown below..........
