What is project scope and limitation?

"The work that has to be done in order to create the product. The project scope is concerned with the work—and only the required work—to complete the project."

I know that you have some confusion on "what is project scope and limitation". This is just definition. Don't emphasize on that much.

"The features and functions that characterize a product, service, or result."

When we heard that "What is project scope and limitation?". In our mind some words should come first, like scope, time, cost. If we were looking for a car, we would first define the scope. For example we want a 4-cylinder front wheel drive with seating for 2 adults and 2 children, and less than 2 years old. Maybe you also want it to be a red convertible.

Having defined the scope, you can calculate cost and time. How much you will have to spend and how long you will take to buy it. If you get the scope wrong, the time and cost will be wrong.

What is case study?

Hello friends,
Today I will going to explain you what is case study and what is project scope and limitation. As we all have some confusion on it. That's why we should start with first "Case Study".

"Research performed in detail on a single case "

OR

"A data collection method that involves in-depth studies of specific cases or projects within a program. The method itself is made up of one or more data collection methods (such as interviews and file review)."

If you want to see some videos on case study:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Njuo1puB1lg

Let's take case study as a puzzle.Writing an interesting case study is a bit like writing a
detective story. You want to keep your readers very interested in the situation.A good case is more than just a description. It is information arranged in
such a way that the reader is put in the same position as the case writer was at
the beginning when he or she was faced with a new situation and asked to
figure out what was going on.

Sometimes case study makes some confusion on mind, so I divide case study in basic 3 phase.

1. The Research Phase
The research phase means what? It means that you should collect data related to your case study by research. So where are you going to collect the data. Here, we have some option like library, internet,Interview people who know the place or the situation.

The second phase is Analysis Phase:

2. Analysis Phase:
Now you have collected a lot of information from people, from articles and books. You can't include it all. So, you need to think about how to sort through it, take out the excess, and arrange it so that the situation at the case site will be understandable

Each person or groupshould try to figure out what is really important, what is happening, and what a case reader would need to know in order to understand the situation.

3.Writing a case study.......

The third and last phase is about writing a case study. We should follow some steps when we are going to write a case study.
  •  Describe the problem
  • Organize the sections of the case.
  • Conclusion.

Microsoft Mobile Os

Microsoft comes with its new Mobile Operating System –Windows Mobile 7 which will be the successor of the previous windows 6.5 mobile OS, Microsoft launched the new windows mobile 7 OS at the Mobile World Congress 2010.
Microsoft Windows Mobile 7 Operating System comes with more prominence to the Microsoft’s serch engine Bing. While the new ‘hubs’ groups related functions from the web, apps and services into a single view. The new mobile OS also offers different hubs for people, picture, games, marketplace, music as well as office.

Within the games and access to your online Xbox Live profile.
Currently the Windows Marketplace has around 250 applications worldwide and about 60 applications in the UK, including social networking applications like Facebook and MySpace as well as a number of popular games, with more apps expected in the near future.
You can expect phones that support the new operating system from the likes of Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG and HTC
What we really want to know though is what changes we can see with the latest operating system that we didn’t have before and are they worth it? The first thing you’ll notice is an upgraded user interface with more use friendly buttons and icons. Got to admit the phone’s “lock” screen is an improvement as it will provide at-a-glance access to emails, text messages and calendar entries without us having to unlock the mobile first. Another advantage is that our photos, contact lists and even our text messages can be backed up in the cloud and so if we lose our phones, which many of us often do, we can download all the data on to our new phone so that all is not lost.

"Let's start Processor Architecture Utility with Basic"

As we all know that it stared from Computer Organization. So how computer is organized, with the input, process, memory and output. So first we should know about all the latest input devices which are used to give some input like data or instruction to computer.

Keyboard, mouse, scanner, web-cam, etc.But we should know further or above it. If you want to watch some of the videos about emerging new input devices, you should watch this videos.

Any machine that feeds data into a computer. For example, a keyboard is an input device, whereas a display monitor is an output device. Input devices other than the keyboard are sometimes called alternate input devices. Mice, trackballs, and light pens are all alternate input devices.

.

Joysticks were once the king of gaming input devices. The advancements of the mouse have taken over a lot of the jobs it once held. Now, joysticks are used mostly for flight or space simulations.
A basic joystick consists of a hand held stick that can be tilted in 360 degrees, and sometimes twisted left or right. Joysticks that are made for flight simulators will normally come with a separate controller for the throttle controls.

Input Devices of the Future

virtual reality input device Get ready to cast aside your keyboard and mouse. Future computer input devices will rely heavily on the movements of our eyes, head, hands, body and the words that we speak. But are you ready for a computer that can read your mind? let's check out the latest developments in computer-human interaction...

Body Movement Input Devices

Body movement input devices are perhaps the easiest step to take in terms of evolving input device technology. These devices will track eye, foot or body position with a magnetic tracker or 3D tracker and mirror those movements on your computer screen. These devices are already in development, and some demographics are already using them. For example, people with mobility disabilities like paralysis or MS, can use head position trackers to help them use their computers.

Brain-Computer Interface Devices

brain-computer interface device The most fantastic of all future input devices has to be the brain wave detection input device. To use this device you will simply have to think about what you want your computer to do and the computer will respond accordingly. It will have sensors that will be able to receive your brain waves and interpret them as a computer command. Can you imagine, composing a term paper or business report just by thinking about what you want to write? Already there are some devices that use EEG and biofeedback technology to detect brain waves and create brain-computer interfaces.

Wacom has announced their latest tablet input device, the Vista-certified Bamboo (~$75). It will make a nice sidecar to a Microsoft WED 8000 keyboard (when it comes out in September). It’s not so much about art or design, it’s much more utilitarian than that. The pen is, by a vast margin, the fastest input device I’ve found (second only to knowing keyboard shortcuts). Once you get over the learning curve and eye-hand coordination, you can navigate your desktop in record speed.

SplitFish's EdgeFX controller brings PC-style input to the console

The evolution of input devices for gaming consoles has certainly been interesting to follow: from Atari's paddles and joysticks to Nintendo's classic NES controller to the modern million-button joypads which delight children and confuse adults, developers are forever seeking ways to increase both the functionality and ergonomics of these peripherals.

Bye Bye !! Black Board...."it's time 4 digital technology"

Students of Delhi Public School (Bopal) are on cloud nine. In a tech-savvy move, the school has decided to introduce kids to digital way of education. This means the students will read their lessons off white digital boards and have access to a new world of animation, graphics and videos related to their syllabus. All 105 classrooms in the campus right from kindergarten to class XII have been quipped with technology to support this initiative.

With the help of digital learning, teachers can now show students a three-dimensional working model which is of immense help to an average learner.

As shown in the image, student will learn with help of technology. Imagine if this kind of technology will be added in all colleges and school in India, so the students can learn easily. Technology helps us in several way in real life. This is one of the example of how technology can make education easy and interesting. Their is some images which is shown below which defines that how the "digital white board works"

We hope that in India the education level will increase rapidly and we can learn with new dimension of education.
