Today their was a workshop organized on "Embedded System" at St.Xavier's College, Ahmedabad. I learn lot of things but most importantly on C language. First of all I would like to clarify what is an embedded system??.........any examples...yes whenever we think or heard about embedded system some kind of confusion occurred. But in real life you are very attached with the embedded systems like automatic washing machine, microwave Owen, Air Conditioner (AC), Set-top boxes (tata sky...), DVD player, MP3 player, iPOD, Mobile Devices many more...........
But if you are seriously thinking that how this kind of stuff work. How any DVD player starts when we press power button and switch on it. Yes in the back end there are many lines of coding and hardware like microprocessor, micro-controllers, chips and memory etc using. So we are students of Computer Applications. And we are very familiar with C language. That is why embedded systems are more important for us. But what we studied in C language is just an over view of C language. We have to considers that a long journey is pending and waiting for us.
